Does Hillary's popularity (She IS the front runner for the nomination) rest as much on Bill Clinton's presidency whose hallmark was intelligence and reason as much as it does on the popularity of Bill Clinton who left office with a 60%+ approval rating?

I think people believe she is also wiser than George W. Bush.

We do not need another stupid President like Bush.

Hillary is commonplace with the Democratic contingency for 2 motives. a million. She's no longer George Bush yet, then back, neither is anybody else. 2. the remainder of the Democrat field. Kucinich, Biden, Gravel, Edwards, Dodd, Obama. it is the Democrats' maximum suitable foot forward? this is hysterical. She wins via default if for no different reason than she's been interior the white abode and knows the place the kitchen is. playstation : I intentionally skipped over Richardson as a results of fact he's going to be her working mate. He can collect the hispanic vote and he's the sole one interior the sphere that has held an identifiable management place. Edit: bill Clinton? Hallmark of mind? I actual have continually questioned: bill Clinton became a profession student. got here across himself in Oxford to conquer the draft on an identical time as partaking in anti conflict demonstrations. In 1973, while the draft became over, he back to Yale and ought to in basic terms muster a JD in regulation. do no longer you discover it curious that a profession student did no longer get a customary doctorate? His Phd became an honorary one from Tulane. did you realize that his genuine call is Billy Blythe Jr.? suits like a glove.

I think Hillary is ahead because there are huge groups of voters that are middle aged women who watch only a little bit of news here and there...and they don't know a lot about the other candidates. These people will most likely vote for her just b/c she is a woman. That stinks because if Hillary is bad in office...then no one will ever want to vote for a woman president again. Yes, I think Bill's charisma has something to do with it. A lot of people liked him (despite what many right-wing neo-conservatives would have you think).

I think it's still early to tell the outcome...there is still a lot of time and anyway....I don't understand how these polls can be correct since most of them are done either online (which doesn't include the older voters and can easily be rigged) or they are conducted by landline telephone (which doesn't account for the 18-30 range who mostly only have cell phones)

I think there is a partnership between the Clintons and Bushs, despite their different parties, and that's why they've been in power for 20 years. Don't let it become 24 or 28 years!! After the country tires of democrat leaders, they will turn to Jeb Bush in 2016. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN!!

Oh, and of course Hillary's popularity is based on Bill's popularity, that and the fact that Bush has injured the Republican party.

I think you are right. I think people understand that the same kind of intelligence and insight that made President Clinton the most successful President since FDR will be available if she is elected. There is only one advantage I see to Mr. Bush's "presidency"--a lot of people are learning the value of competence in elected leaders, and to never ever fall for Republican BS again..."family values" yeah right.

She's ahead because of money and spin and has amassed the biggest team of spinners in history. And Bill was so truthful about "not having sex with that women" under oath. Let's figure out the definition of "is" before we go further. All I ask is that they give a yes or no to a yes or no question. Did you see her in the last debate. I wouldn't be too surprised if Russert had something bad sort of thing happen to him..

It's because of liberal/socialist brainwashing, along with support from the lowest of the low in our society. That's regarding either of the two people of this unwholesome pair.

There was an elderly man who slowly walked up to the White House, where there was a young Marine guard. The old man says to the guard, "I have traveled quite aways and I wish to see Bill Clinton." The guard looks at the old man and says, "Sir, I'm sorry, but Bill Clinton is not here any longer, there is now a different president." The old man says, "Oh I see," then leaves.

The very next morning the same guard was standing there, and who do you think returns, slowly approaching again? Sure enough it was the old man, and the guard figured he had a different question, but again he says, "I would like to see Bill Clinton." The guard patiently tells the man again, "Sir, as I indicated yesterday, Mr. Clinton no longer resides at this office." The old man nods, and then strolls away.

Day three: Same scenario - the guard is standing there and along comes the old man, who again insists, "I want to see Bill Clinton." The guard, becoming somewhat frustrated looks at the man and tells him, "Sir, this is the third day you have come here asking for Bill Clinton, even though I have made it perfectly clear he doesn't live at the White House any longer. What else can I do to convince you, don't you understand, sir?"

The old man looks at the guard straight in the eye and says, "As I told you, I have traveled quite a distance. You have told me that Bill Clinton does not live here any longer. Yes, young man, I do understand it, but you see...I JUST LOVE HEARING IT!”

The young Marine smiles warmly and says in agreement, "Sir...I'll look forward to seeing you again tomorrow!"

Hillary is in front because of HER abilities and beliefs. Bill would be an advisor but that is okay as the presidential mate usually does serve as and unofficial advisor.

it might have something to do with it. however, hillary is hillary, NOT bill. she is a savvy politician and a familiar face, that is what is probably putting her ahead of the competition.
