Well this year will be my first year to decorate my house with my new husband. We are going to go all out decorating everything!

I always change what I do each year! This year, we are putting up a white tree which is on a rotating base. It will be all decorated with antique dollies who are wearing red, dark blue and green velvet dresses.

I will have a village set-up which has multiple settings with working ferris wheel, train, water fountain, merry-go-round and several other pieces.

I will also be putting up two small revolving trees as well. These will be in the windows, facing the street and will be on opposite ends of the house.

On the outside, I have a machine which makes it look as though it is snowing. I will use this again and my candy canes will line the walkway.

I do buy tablecloths and serving dishes for Christmas. I have never gone through the trouble of putting up a shower curtain for Christmas and I do not like the linens made for this either.

Okay, that pretty much gives you a picture of my plans!

My house.......nope. We don't decorate every room and not even the outside cause we live in an apartment. My grandma and grandpa's house.......yeah but the decorations are boring actually the "decoration" is boring. The only decoration they bring out is this little snowman. But I'm not trying to say that i hate the decorations it's just that i think they need more but I'm glad that they have a Christmas spirit!!!!

Happy X-mas!!!

I used to go all into it.
Had some personal tragedies during holiday season for about 4 years in a row that really caused me to rethink priorities--now I focus on the Christian aspects of the season only and have pretty much eliminated or extremely downplayed the commercial aspects.
The season is more peaceful, less stressful for me now.
The hardest part is getting others to understand that without thinking I am a Scrooge.

The best way I can describe it is to tell you to read the book "Skipping Christmas" by John Grisham. It is funny & sweet & has a great message about what really matters!

Merry Christmas--Christ is the reason for the season!

Nope. I only decorate the living room and dining room. Sometimes there are a few things in the kitchen, but no more than some hot pads, hand towels and a mat. Oh, we decorate outside, but nothing at all tacky.

well, at my moms house we have a christmas tree in the living room and thats on the main floor . me and my sister also each have a 3 foot tall fake tree in our rooms. my room is always decorated elaboratley, but my sis only does the tree (well, i put it up for her, i guess she figures we have enough deco as it is, but i say we dont have enough) our downstairs bath is undecorated, so is the kitchen except some window clings and a tablecloth,in the living room where the main tree is, it has a tree, window clings, a wreath, coffee table runner, and a candy dish on the coffee table as well. upstairs me and my sis have each a small tree as i said above, and other than that we have deco in my room. eventually i want to get a towel set and toilet seat cozy/mat set for the bathroom and a tree (tall) for our hall. all this is because my mom lets us have the upstairs, which consits of two bedrooms (mine and my sisters), a hall with a fouton in it,and a half bath that we have pland to put a shower in,pretty much to ourselves (me and my sis), as long as we keep it relatively neat. cool,eh?

My mom puts decorations all over the living room, dining room, kitchen, and family room (where the tree is. ) Then in the game room, we have another red and gold 5 foot tree. In my room I have a white tree with pink ornaments.

Outside we have alot of stuff.
When I was little, my moms friend made stuffed elfs that you can put them in the ground. They have all of our names on it.

We also have a lit tree and trees by our door.

I like it. There are other houses who go WAY out. Thats alot

uh, I don't. I decorate the living room and den and the dining room. In our den, we put up the christmas tree, and in the living room, which has the fireplace, we put up the stockings and the reef, and we put garlands on our stairs. that's about it. Sometimes we'll put little decorations outside, but no lights because it's too much trouble.

As little as possible. My wife wants more and I want less.

Bah! Humbug!

And I certainly do NOT want decorations in the bedroom. My nights are troubled enough with out knowing there is some plastic Santa, leering at me in the darkness. (shudder!)

After a campaign of over 25 years, we finally purchased an artificial tree. It looks VERY nice, quite realistic, and no more stinky pine needles all over our carpet. I used to refer to our annual expedition to hunt down an innocent evergreen as "killing a tree for Jesus." One of my Xmas joys used to be cutting up the old, dead tree for disposal. It has, now, been replaced by the ritual of disassembling the tree for storage. This year, I plan to bake cookies and make hot cocoa for the event.

I plan to do it ALONE, giggling maniacly all the while, with Acid Rock music blaring in the background.

Joy to the World! Heh heh heh.

Did "Mickey" write "reef?" Heh, heh, heh. Oh JOY! Heh, heh, heh.
