I drive a Ford Ranger w/ a 3.0L V6. It gets 22 MPG on the highway, 17 MPG in the city.

My hyundai Sonata gets 20 mpg in town, and 30 mpg on the highway. Is that good enough for you? PS It runs on regular.

We pay about £8.00 a gallon here in the UK, talk about a rip off.
But, to actually answer your question it's not terrible but it's not brilliant either.
My old one did about 16 miles to the gallon - admittedly it was a Landrover...., this one does about twice that.

Mine isn't too bad...but all of the hybrids are sooo ugly. They can't make a cool looking fuel efficient car? I don't understand.
