wow most of you ran into a tree,ouch ><

lol!! I remember it clearly. At first I was so excited whenever I saw anybody ride the bike that I couldn't wait to ride one myself. So I decided to try this huge mountain bike that was leaning against the wall of my house, it took awhile for me to get on because I was only 6 or something. I fell down right away. So I decided to ride those medium bikes which was still pretty big for me. Except this time I was out on the road in front of my house. Well this time, I got going with the bike and pedaled, but I didn't know how to stop. I got really scared at that point especially since I was going towards this tree. I hit that tree and cried like I've never cried before.

Yeah I was 10. I know I was old. But I tried to ride around like all the boys and did the same thing as one of the boys and fell off. But I didn't let him know. I got right up followed him, caught up and he never knew.

Yes, it was a bit shaky at first, and I kept on putting my foot down to keep balance, but I got the hang of it within an hour, and gained my confidence.

Yup, must have been 4 or 5.
It wa fun, not scary. Lit a lifelong passion really.

I am no cyclist (my father gave up on teaching me how to when I was 12!) but last month, I had to cycle for a camp. I couldn't cycle so they paired me up with a camp-mate on a tandem bike, and hell yeah, it was super fun! Not scary. :D

i don't remember what i had for dinner last night....I'm sure the heck ain't going to remember the first time i rode a bike....very bad memory

Yes I do. It was a night in Brooklyn, and my two older brothers were holding me up on a rented bike. That was 70 years ago, thanks for the memory.

yeah I ran into so many trees and scraped my knees until they bled by the cupsfuls it was exciting to me then though

yes i do, i was in an apartment complex parking lot. some older kids whizzed passed me and i lost my balance causing me to crash into the owners Mercedes. it busted out his taillight. i was punished by having to help him clean the pool all summer.
