I live in Oxford AL and I'm trying to sell my old trumpet. I just don't want to junk it, someone might get some use out of it.

I sold my daughter's trumpet on eBay... we got almost what we paid for it and she used it for 3 years of band in school.

yes, I have had the same probelm.
Go to
www.craigslist.com
click on your area, make an account, and you can post pics and info about your trumpet. People in your area can search for instance 'trumpet' and your ad will pop up. Include your e'mail or phone number, and they will contact you. Then you will be able to meet the person somewhere and they will enchange cash for your trumpet!! it's that easy.
I bought my bach 37 strad off of craigslist.

there's gobs of disadvantaged kids who would LOVE to be in the band, but couldn't afford an instrument.... hows about donating it to a school band ???......
