I'm asking because I'm not from the US, and I see that they get mentioned on here and other places from time to time...

To the first three people who answered, fair enough. It's just that you're the first who I've seen who hasn't complained about them.

dukefan, I AM a huge American Football fan. I didn't realise that I had to be American and have to live over there to be a massive fan.

I was a fan of the sport long before Commissioner Goodell decided that he wanted to make the NFL more of a global thing.

I just thought that the Manning commercials must have been annoying for you simply because before I asked this question, all I had previously seen were people moaning and bitching about them, that's all. And there were quite a few people who were doing it.

baybeegrl5, it had NOTHING to do with cultural difference. I'm not attacking anyone here.

All I did was to ask a question, and I've been given info contrary to what I thought it was all about.

Peyton Manning is not nearly as insufferable as his brother Eli and his father Archie. Peyton has actually done something. He's still a bit overexposed, but at least he can make fun of himself. They're amusing.

the thing is...you're not from the US and i take it therefore you're not a huge american football fan (if you are, then my badd, but i'm just assuming). some people find them annoying becuz it's just this random white guy constantly trying to be funny on tv...to others it's hilarious because only recently, peyton has shown himself as a dead serious, work hard kind of guy. and all of a sudden he's in these commercials acting funny and stuff...so it's all on how you see it...

Pretty annoying since he has just now won a Super Bowl and with all the media attention, all the Colts fans think he is suddenly the best QB ever...Peyton is a good, classy guy...just a little overrated...

Hey, ordinary...3 Super Bowls puts you in Best Ever consideration...not 1 Super Bowl...With that said, I think Brett Favre is closer to Best Ever than Peyton is...

I think Peyton is very good at the commercials; he's certainly not bad looking; he's not obnoxious, and he's very likeable. I actually enjoy them.

PS- I'm not a Colts fan either; but a Steelers fan. But Peyton's a good guy.

I'm no Peyton Manning fan, but I think they are kind of amusing, actually.

It sure beats the usual loudmouth, "in your face" type behavior that is so typical of NFL thugs these days.

I rather see a Peyton commercial than any of those goofy reality shows

Not at all annoying. He's a fine, up standing white man.
