Don't eat big fish that eat smaller fish that eat smaller fish, because mercury gets concentrated in the huge fish eaters. Tasteless white tuna has lots more mercury than flavorful light tuna does. So does swordfish. Both of these have had warnings against them since the 60's. Sardines and mackerel are dirt cheap and taste great. Same with smelts.

Well, fish is supposed to help with brain functions and can be very good for you. However, your mercury and metal count could start to rise causing negative neurological effects. It is believed that Autism, Alzheimers and other neurological disorders are caused by having too much metal in your system. Right now autism might not effect you but it could effect your children (if you choose to have them). Alzheimers could effect you later in life. At any rate, slow down on the fish and try other ways of getting protein.

Eat fish, it is good, but don't exagerrate. What you should do is following Medditeranean nutrition. Fish 2 times per week. Okay, 4 times a week. Well, try to intake eggs and meat. And veggies. Eat all in good portions and you will be feeling always healthy.

It's just a case of a temporary craving! This too will pass! Fish is better for you than red meat, so relax and see where this takes you. I'm a big Sushi lover, too. And, I don't eat the rice either, because it just slows me down. I'm still alive.

cooked fish is good although you may want to watch your sushi intake as it carries parasites and they crawl around in the brain area, i saw an e mail of an oriental gent that loved it to death, and he had his head cut open due to some movement and headachess, when they cut into his head, there was mass amounts of buggs n worms living there, pictures were very grosse
