Yes, and Yes. it has positive and negative impacts.. well for me. The negatives is that, people make you choose a side, or you feel like you're not accepted enough, people talked about my hair, its long and pretty but can ge frizzy they didn't make products for frizzy hair back then, I came from a country state, with not many mixed people so it had many impacts on my life, (im multiracial btw not biracial) and you get picked at because of what you're mixed with, especially if it was native am. I moved to a more diverse area, everyone's mixed or something and its cool, im better here. but the ignorant people still pop up here too just not as much i fell like i can freely get to know my other sides without someone having a problem with it. i love being mixed now, just like the other person said if gives u a chance to explore different cultures and be apart of it. and it fun

Yes I am proud of coming from a mixed background. It only has an impact (negative) on my life when I'm in the South of the US. Most other places people aren't as close-minded.

I'm somewhat proud of having a mixed descent.
It has some impact in my life, especially in dealings with my friends.

Very few people are actually of only one decent in the US, even if you are Caucasian, there are high odds you are mixed with other white races, IE German, Dutch, Irish, Polish, what have you. Many individuals have Native American in them as well. So you see, many individuals are not of only one decent. How it affects a person is how they allow it to affect them. Most people choose not to allow it to affect their life as they are American first and their ethnic backgrounds second.
