Congress already goes home on Thursday and gets back to work on Tuesday - now they want to make it legal to 'do nothing'. The truth is, this is a political season and they want 'free time' to raise money and lobby. America needs to 'vote no' at the ballet box and get these people out of office. Americans work five days (at least), why shouldn't we expect our elected officials to do at least what we do?

They need to work all five days. I am lucky if I get 1-2 full days off a month...they want my money, I want them to do their job...things are really getting ridiculous.

In this Congress we may be better off with them out of D.C. The Texas legislature only meets part of the year. They get things done. What we should be demanding are term limits without huge Government retirements. They just raised their retirement benefits by 15%. They vote themselves a $5000 a year pay raise just about every year. Pelosi's demand for a bigger plane to carry her relatives cost about 50 grand more a trip to Ca. The more they are in D.C. the more it cost us.

Alexander F. Tyler stated: 'A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largess out of the treasury with the result that democracies always collapse over a loose fiscal policy, always to be followed by a dictatorship.'

This is where my party is heading. The Republican party and others aren't far behind.

We were given the tools to prevent this from happening by our founders. We've weakened them, but we still have enough.

Choose.

i have considered alot of folk say God hates sinners. i do not see how this would nicely be genuine, at the same time as God has unconditional love for all mankind. Does the solar no longer shine on the kept and unsaved? He needs us to receive the loose present of salvation to have eternal existence with Him. The very standard scripture, John 3:16; For God so loved the international, that He gave His in easy words begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH in Him might want to no longer perish, yet have eternal existence. once you agree for that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour, then you actually have self assurance, so then you actually love Him and favor to do what He needs you to do on the topic of all aspects of your existence. merely pray that he will handbook you in information.

Can't you see it's all Bush's fault? Democrats really care. They need the extra time off to bake cookies for the homeless.

This would make perfect sense to a liberal.
Work less and take more money.
Sounds a lot like most of their constituent base.
