I am making "lounge-a-rounds" for my kids (the company store sells some) but I don't know where I can buy the fill. I was going to use bean bag fill but decided that I like the idea of feather down fill better. Where can I buy it? online, brick and mortar?

Thanks

I've never seen it for sale. Anyway, it's only good for covers, it wouldn't be comfy to sit on because it will squish right down to the floor. Even a featherbed is meant to be used as a quilt, not a mattress.

If you're looking for something squishier than pellets, maybe you can get a big block of foam, carve it to the shape you, wnat, and then hollow it out so that it caves in around them when they sit on it? They do this with big stuffed toys to make them cuddly.

www.Thru-hiker.com has down fill and some other cheaper synthetic fills. I believe it is a higher quality down for coats and vests but it might work.
