no. they play in the weakest conference in 1A football. they have the last rated schedule strengthness in division 1A. they play their "tough games" at home. they went into overtime with lousiana tech?! they had to rally to beat san jose state?!? they would get destroyed by ANY team in the top 25 (and you can say by about 20 other teams who arent ranked)

I think they deserve to be higher ranked in the BCS Standings. Colt Brennan is a incredible quarterback, and the team is really doing well this season. I think they are underrated, definitely. They should at the least be in the top 10 or 12.

If Hawaii had scheduled one single good team, or even a mediocre one, they would have a legitimate complaint. Instead they play a bunch of patsies. And they almost lost to LA Tech. Hawaii should not even be mentioned in the same sentence as "BCS".

They're getting a fair shake, Hawaii has a weak strength of schedule and they have a tough time beating those teams.

No they struggled against Louisana Tech 45-44 OT and San Jose St 42-35 OT
if anything i think they are overrated - they have not beat anyone and they've struggled against some pretty bad teams

Could you imagine Hawaii going undefeated (because they play basically high school teams) and then playing LSU? Colt Brennan would be injured in the first quarter because that LSU defense is stout. Take away Colt Brennan and were is Hawaii?

Of course not. They are a Division II school. They'd get blown out if they played a big market team. Even Indiana would beat them 49-3.

if they win out against boise State later in the season, and beat a Pac-10 washington team.........then yes I can see them be a legit BCS team...........maybe against Michigan or south florida
