Because in my opinion, I think it's funny that people would spend money on dry-cleaning their jeans. I can understand other fabrics, but jeans?! I can maybe understand if you take it to the cleaners to get a nice 'pressing' and have pleats done, but for goodness sake.....use an iron!

Your thoughts, please.

I personally know someone who does and it completely cracked me up the other day when I noticed it with a bunch of other clothes being picked up from the dry-cleaners. I couldn't stop teasing. I told my friend I had to ask the Yahoo community for their opinions. LOL.

I totally agree. A good washing machine will get them clean and if you want them wrinkle free just iron them yourself. Some people have too much money to waste and they are lazy.

Unless they tell the dry cleaner to actually dry clean them, they are washed and pressed. They may get them starched. In the south/southwest, they use a powder starch in the wash when washing jeans. You can actually stand them up against a wall and they are so stiff they stay. (Ranchers are sometimes out on the trail for a couple of days with no warning. Heavy starch makes the jeans look nice longer and makes it easier to brush off the dust.) (Dry cleaning will get out any grease that is on them.)

Nope, denim is a tough fabric and can stand up to being washed. Dry cleaning would be a waste of money.

I paid $40.00 for 2 sweaters and a skirt. i could say they are going to probable launder them instead of dry clean them, so wash them your self in chilly water in case you do no longer prefer them to chop back, and carry them as much as dry or use the cycle without warmth interior the dryer.

I know someone who does too and I think it's ridiculous! Jeans should be washed and tossed in the dryer at home like normal people do it.

I can think of other things I can spend my money on than dry-cleaning jeans...

No way. However, I do wash them inside out to preserve the way they look and also hang them to dry.

I have a friend that does it all the time. They DO look nice. (starched and neat). But I think it is a waste.
