I have, once going down the stairs in primary school, this kid tripped me, I fell down the stairs and hit my head on the floor, two black eyes. You wouldn't believe how much I wanted to flatten his head.

That is sad! I hope you did not waste too many years of your life with this cowardly group. Some women get caught in an abusive cycle which becomes more and more intense. I dated someone once whose sister was beaten up a number of times a week quite intensely. I met her once unexpectedly and she had just received 30 lashes with a leather belt , the reason she was moving slowly and very painfully. When she told her brother IT had happened again, her husband entered the room having overheard her, and very charmingly, BECAUSE BELIEVE ME, SOME OF THESE ABUSERS, are Charmers, and told us she was again playing some drama. That the truth was, she has tripped down the stairs while taking her laundry to be washed.
The thing was, that after we left, he beat her for having told her brother, in the presence of a new person, me . . the truth.
The brother though was never abusive to me, although he was a very insecure person.
I stopped dating him, because there was something which seemed to be brewing in him, and I did not want to be there when the mercury went right up and exploded at the top of his emotional thermometer.
As for me, No, I have never had a black eye, although from some men there has been emotional abuse. But I have learned to avoid these cowards!
Because in truth, that is precisely what they are!

I had a bad ex. once too, but he never damaged my face, just parts not so visible to many.
Only black eye I recieved was during a softball game. Stopped a fast ball with my nose instead of my glove. Broke my nose and gave me a two black eyes. It's funny now.

Yes, twice, once from a fight with my sister when we were kids and the second time after a bad accident, both eyes were black.

Only a few the first one i got was from my wee cousin who has always been twice my size we used to play rough.

Yes I have...one time at my friend's b-day sleepover we both ran right into each other..and really hard cause it was dark and we couldn't see. Well I was the one with that nice big shiner...everyone at school thought I got beat up
