On 20/20 last night there was a part about people protesting at funerals, especially soldier's funerals with signs saying God Hates You, Thank God For 9/11, etc. That's just not right! I think 20/20 said that they were going to get some time of punishment for doing this. If they're not going to be sent to jail for doing this, then they should! This is rude and disruptive to the people around them. What do you think?

I think that is a horrible thing to do. A funeral is held for the family and friends so they can say their goodbyes. People shouldn't be using that time to voice their opinion about the military. If that soldier die in combat he was just doing his job and following orders. It doesn't make him a bad person. I would like to go more it to this but this really hurts me. Also to good guy it isn't the soldier choice to go over to Iraq it was the presidents. The soldiers have no choice in the matter they are just following orders. And yes there are some soldiers that are wrong in what they do over there. But the majority are good people.

It makes me so sad to see parents bury their sons and daughters. Esp when they died in Iraq. Their pain must be great.

The idea that a group of "Christians" would show up to a funeral to mock those who have died in combat makes me think of the word treason.

Treason is punishable by death. Make it swift.

Those people deserve to hear the truth even if they're "mourning" at a funeral,

The Fifth Commandment YOU SHALL NOT KILL

yet these guys go to Iraq and massacre thousands of innocent civilians and think an apology makes everything better, it doesn't matter what religion they are, the atrocities they commit in Iraq are just plain wrong.

it's like that homophobic pastor who protests gay's funerals. It's wrong to disturb people in their time of mourning. That's when the line is crossed for freedom of speech.

Free speech doesn't mean freedom to be heard, and it certainly doesn't mean freedom to force your views on others.
