100% country girl here, never used public transportation but i imagine it would feel a lot safer if police officers where present*

Responding to a domestic call is the most dangerous call an Officer goes on. I have had people get belligerent, call me names for asking for their I.D. to show they are ok to be where they are. When all they had to do was quietly show me. I then thank them and they go on their way. And some where trying to get some place they were not allowed. They got.. removed, sometimes with vigor. The thing is I am not a mind reader. I have no idea if your crashing a place or are there legitimately. No, this really will not change the way Police respond to calls. If this Officer acted improperly he will be reprimanded. Still this is far less worse than what G.W. allowed to happen to the 2 border guards

real police yes despite them being idiots. the pretendo transit cops no way I hate those power tripping morons their idiots and on a power trip best thing to do with them is shove then in a trash bin in front of a train

In NYC, it is already patrolled by police. I ride the rails regardless. I CAN'T DRIVE!

Heck no! I've seen "COPS." They taser little old ladies who are handcuffed, lying on their faces with the cops knee planted squarely in the middle of their back.

they do patrol . Its the best place to meet their quotas !
