what type of watch should i wear?

Question

i mean i have thick-set wrists.. or large wrists and im a teenage girl.. so what type of watches should i wear?.. because little dainty ones look stupid and rather large ones look horrendous! any help would be much appreciated.

i carry a cell phone/mobile phone but i need a watch for work as my job rotates around time.

Well, consider a watch that hangs (upside down) on your chest as a necklace or broach. Then the size of the face is not in contrast with your wrists. You might also consider wearing a moderately bold extension strap but put the body of the watch on in inside of your wrist, so how ever big it is doesn't show most of the time (you look at it by looking next to the palm of your hand instead of the back.) If you carry a cell phone most of the time, consider not having a watch at all, since the time and date show on the face of most of those.
You might look at pocket watches on chains if the clothes you wear will accomodate them.

If you can afford it, I recommend Peter Speake-Marin. They're a bit pricey, coming in at around half a million dollars. You might also consider Roger Dubois, Franck Muller or even Xemex. Nothing tacky like American watches. Swiss only.

try 'tank' style watches. i have a big wrist. i wear an 8inch bracelet and i like 'tank' style classic watches. they have a rectangular face. the band and the face all flow into each other and are about the same size (approcimately half and inch or so wide) i also like to wear watches that are loose and look like a bracelet. i only wear leather bands close to my skin. the link below looks something like the one i wear

hi, i also think you can choose some non-wrist watches, if that kind really hassles you.

i do no longer placed on watches. I tell the time from the sunlight. i do no longer only like the sensation of something around my wrists. i do no longer even placed on bracelets .. properly for that reason and because i'm no longer a woman :P
