In my state and most others, non-hispanic white males are the only people who don't legally have minority status. Women of any race and men of any race but white are given special treatment as minorities.

Martin Luther King once said "Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." I think he would agree that discrimination cannot drive out discrimination, only equality can do that.

Giving one race an advantage over another is racism. Giving one sex an advantage over the other is sexism. I am not racist or sexist. I believe everyone should have an equal opportunity.

What do you think?
