I have no idea what this question means?? If you are from India aren't you Asian rather than Black or are you of Black origin living in India? What do you mean how can you be White? Do you mean you want a different skin colour? I hardly think this is possible. Do you mean you want to adopt the culture of a White person? If so, there are many cultures in Europe all of which would cover 'White'. Is this a problem of identification for you? Do you want to identify as White when you are actually Black? If so your issues run deeper than mere 'colour' and you may need to get some help and support to try and analyse why you feel uncomfortable in the skin you have.

or you could just be sitting there bored on a Saturday afternoon like me, browsing through yahoo questions..

Maybe you just thought you'd post a question that made no sense and see what people mad e of it...

to WIZARD ALEX there are black people in india who've been there for centuries, so go educate yourself

anyways to anser the question, there is nothing wrong being dark or black in color............light won't make you more beautiful

you have to love yourself and be confident in who u are and where u came from

a cosmetic surgeon.
this is absurd you should be proud of your skin.
as you r from india i understand what you are thinking ,indian concept of beauty is racist.

ok. correct me if im wrong but dont they sell cream in india to lighten your skin. i have seen this in the indian grocerys here in america, so surely you see it in yours!! or maybe you want more than that. here is an answer..... just be you.

You should be proud of who you are.It does not matter if your a "light" or "dark" skinned Indian.I am sure you are very pretty...most Indians are in my opinion =].
