i wouldnt want to.. not forever at least... thats like running a race with no finish line... i think part of living andnot knowing when you'll die is to live everyday like your last and just fullfill your life.

I would hate to live forever, at least in this life. Now if we had a magical button that would let us switch, at any time, to a different life or to become a different person, then yeah, I'd be up for living forever. But I am already looking forward to my death because I don't really like the life that I've got right now. And it's hard as hell to change it.

I think i'll pass this eternal life. the beauty of our life is in it's limited state. imagine if diamonds are as common as sand or common stone. do you think jewelers will still value that as much as they do now? Our life is precious because it is limited. and we only have a limited time of doing things. imagine of you are to live forever, you can skip studiying now, cause you can still study after a thousand years. why work now? your not gonna die of starvation, so you'll work after another thousand years, you can always put something at the bottom of your priority list which is sickening... another thing, if you are to live an eternal life, you cant spend it alone right? can you deal with the emotional stress of watching your spouse die, your children, and grandchildren die? and what do you do you get another spouse, and the vicious cycle goes on an on... it's a terrible thing really so im gonna have to pass...

I still like Miss Alabama's answer from the 1994 Miss America pageant :
"I would not live forever, because we should not live forever, because if we were supposed to live forever, then we would live forever, but we cannot live forever, which is why I would not live forever"

you could end desirous to stay perpetually and challenge about the existence that you've now, the in easy words existence you're going to get (except you've self assurance in Reincarnation). there is dissimilar issues for you to do in only this one lifetime. think again your favor to stay perpetually. would you truly pick to? would you pick to stay with out associates or relations, because you'd be unable to take them with you, unable to keep them from lack of life at the same time as their time got here? you would might want to keep making new associates, and keep feeling the discomfort at the same time as they left you. Heck, you would even get used to it. and then the position would you be? would not you become bored? there is in easy words a lot you could do in this one earth, and also you would have perpetually to do all of them. a minimum of ten cases. more advantageous. and also you'll not have any lasting relationships to percentage those reviews with. Please, stay the existence you've now, and also you gained't experience sorry about it. it is the superb you could do.

The greatest punishment that can be given to any one is to give him 'immortality'.For ages and ages he will be requesting God to give him death. He will have to face the punishment with great mental pain. Without any aim in life, the eternal life will always be unendurable. With no relatives, no friends and no society and ever lingering knowledge of inability to end the life will be a constant torture.

I would love. The real problem in your question is about what is "living". Do you mean living in flesh and blood? Do you have another life without flesh and blood but your knowledge only. imagine that you continue to live even when the whole universe disappeared, the starts, sun, moon, proxima centauri or whatever fancy terms these ignorant cosmologists have coined, and just your knowledge, your knowledge only lives. Think hard. It is difficult for you to imagine, and that is why I am posing this to you. Because, knowledge does not need space to live. And when the universe disappeared anyway space and time also disappeared. And just your knowledge is there. No flesh, blood, skin, senses. just knowlege.
Now tell me, would you not like it. Because you became timesless, spaceless, knowledge.
