I've noticed a huge amount of people who were regulars on here, especially in religion and politics, who are no longer here. If you look for them, all you find is the site where they were and an "oops, that information is not available"

I had my previous account deleted for unknown reasons, and when I asked why, they simply said my account was deleted and not eligible for reinstatement.

Has anyone else noticed this or had similar problems?

I sense a possible conspiracy theory here. (Paranoia can be fun!) I too, have had a question inexplicably removed (it was about 1.6 billion in war contracts).

However, with the load of questions, I doubt they can all be policed. And if the Yahoo "secret police" and gulag guards get too heavy handed, they'd know we'd migrate elsewhere. My hope is that good ol' free-enterprise capitalism will keep them on the straight and narrow.

Besides, I'd rather think of the Yamster as a warm and fuzzy cute ninja hampster instead of as a KGB man.

Sadly, I do have a few ex-contacts who are no longer with us --- but that's because they just got burned-out.

Yes! Just happened to me this morning. I had a perfectly legit question and it was deleted after 2 days..WTF?! I think its ONE person who "targets" me and makes sure I'm wiped out of Y!A. Politics and Religion are very touchy subjects. Its the cowards who feel threatened. I'm sooo disappointed that Yahoo allows this to keep happening.

Yahoo is a liberal company, they don't have to have a reason to delete your ID, they hire trolls to prompt you into violating the TOS and even then you don't have to violate anything, if they don't like what you post, your ID is suspended.
