My Dr has always said Nothing in the vagina until you stop bleeding....so if you're still bleeding, nope that includes masterbating. If you're not bleeding go ahead and have sex, or whatever. Just take it slow because things will be a little tight and sore at first.
And plenty of women do it because there are so many women who show up at their 6 wk appt pregnant. After my daughter I stopped bleeding around 2 weeks so we managed a few times before my appt.

I know the medinazis will crucify this answer, but so long as you're not in pain, and youre done bleeding having sex isnt going to kill you. Make sure he wears a condom and he takes it easy. Call it off if you're too sore.
In 7 days the OB will look in there and make sure its all safe and sound. But when it all comes down to it, if you're wanting to have sex you will, whether someone tells you its okay or not.
I personally think it takes 6 weeks or more to heal down there, but women have sex sooner than that all the time, aside from getting pregnant from it, ive never heard of anything bad happening.
All that said, I dont see why you cant service yourself if you're wanting to wait for permission from a person who doesnt live in your body or know how its feeling at the time,

I think the actual rule is "nothing inside the vagina". Take it easy, take care of everything from the outside ;) and you should be fine.
But...you are obviously feeling frisky. This is a great sign that you are up to it already. You are 5 weeks along - you are probably good to give it a go with the hubby. Just take it slow and gentle either way.

The question is if you can take care of yourself. Yes you can as long as your not using toys and such that penetrate.
I would wait until after you have your 6 week check up. You are really fertile right now and this is how women get pregnant so easily after birth.
They tell you to wait for a reason.
Your hormones are out of control and the "urge" is so strong, hang in there! You only have a week to go!!!!

Yep and you can also 'fool around' with your hubby. Remember there are other things to do besides intercourse ;)
Kudos to you for actually being able to wait! lmao My husband and I made it like 3-4 weeks, then couldn't help ourselves. It also helped that I didn't tear or have to get stitches. =)
Good luck!

sure that's a extensive difficulty. the difficulty is that in case you decide directly to regulate his masterbation frequency, you haven't any longer a gamble of consistent this dating for the long haul. come across a job or a interest or something. you're his considerable different no longer his mom.

I think it depends if there is penetration or not. The doctors want to make sure that you have healed fully before having sex. But who I am to talk, I had sex 2 1/2 weeks after I had my son. Good luck!

call your Dr but I know that I had sex at 5 weeks post, as as long as it is not rough and it does not hurt your probably fine. If you just wanna take care of things yourself I am sure that is even better, you know your body better then your Dr does.

Hardly anyone waits the full 6 weeks anyway. Its one of those things where you have to let your body tell you if it's OK or not.

If it doesnt hurt then go ahead. The biggest worry is infection. tell your hubby to wrap it up so you lessen the chances. Go easy as it might hurt a little.
