Have you read the classic "Interview with a Vampire" by Anne Rice? It was written some time back, but it's still a great book, combining great vampire views with how a regular person may react, and also some romance of a peculiar vampire sort... on like that... it's a good read! Infinitely better than the movie, if you saw that.

Okay, AAAmber,
Not meaning to be a smart*** here, but I have a question for you in regard to your question.
We all know that reading, especially reading pleasure, is personal and everyone responds to a single book in several different ways. How do you know that the taste of one person matches yours?
You may get several positive comments on a certain book and they all say, "Hey, this is the greatest book ever!" You read the book they recommended and you hate it. Then what? Not even great reviews are any real indication of how you will react to the book.
Oh, and by the way, never trust the blurbs on book covers. They are usually written by the author and the author is NOT going to say anything negative about his/her book.
