Would you of believed them?
10 years ago I left school at an early age, partied a lot and had no goals for my life, I then met my husband and everything changed, settled down stopped all the partying and heavy drinking and went back to school, got a good job as a pre-school teacher and had a child...
So- If somebody had told me 10 years ago my life would be as it is now I would of laughed in their face...

If someone told me 10 years ago that I would be living the way I do today, I would have rather died probably. I was a partyer also. That is all the was important to me. the me from 10 years ago would be bored to death to be living the me now's life.

Astrologers in India do have the ability to forecast the entire life of a person. based on exact time and date of birth and also place of birth. Their forecasting is based on location of stars at the time of birth and several arithmetical calculations. As per my experience , the forecasts have come true about 90 %. of times. Unfortunately the numbers of real astrologers have been dwindling very fast and a large numbers of cheats have made astrology a roaring business.

I'm glad you're happy now. Many who have gone through your path were not as lucky as you. However, "laughing in their face" is unnecessary as you may want your preschool students and your own child to go down a safe and exemplary life. I'm sure you don't want sleepless nights waiting for your own child to come home after a night out with a group of kids who drink alcohol and drive, maybe who you know beat up on other kids, write on walls, carry guns... Consider yourself lucky and someone who should know better... Give your parents or guardian a hug for putting up with your shenanigans.

Yes! Life hasn't really changed much for me though! After all there's not a lot of difference between 50 and 60!

10 years ago i was only 7, so i would have believed them. i am in high school right now, just a normal teenager. i actually would have been suprised to know that i have lost interset in basketball, and become more artsy, but thats about it.

I'd respond like so
1) 'whaaaa' since i would be eight and anybody over the age of 12 was ancient... and then
2) i'd stick my tongue out and go 'ewww boys are icky why do you like them' and then
3) i'd ask if i can watch some more sesame street

If someone told me ten years ago that I would be miserable and no one knew it, I would have never left the city, and I would have stayed with my friends and family.

True -- life is a journey -- we don't know what is facing us around the corner ever. We can plan or not plan but things change regardless.
