When I was in the Air Force, I spent a year living and working in Thailand, but we still had left-hand drive cars, so we drove with the driver nearest the left shoulder of the roadway.. When I returned to the USA, I jumped in a car and headed down the highway as I had for the past year, and I went for nearly a mile on the wrong side of the road before an oncoming car reminded me that I was back in the good ol' US of A.

I have not gone so far as gotten in the wrong car...most people lock them, but I recently walked towards the wrong car and wondered why I did such a lousy job parking until I realized that it wasn't my car. Luckily it was dark out and my car was a couple spaces down so hopefully I didn't look like a total moron!

Yes I have and it was embarrassing, it was dark and my son and boyfriend moved the truck when I went into the grocery store when I came out I got into a red truck that was parked where he was when I went in. They laughed and thought it was so funny.

I did once when I was a kid. I was trying to be the first in the car and I hopped in the wrong one. The owner didnt see me but my mom thought i was nuts. I also tried unlocking a car that wasnt mine once. The owner didnt see that one either but my friend did and laughed at my insolence.

I have done that a few times! LOL I drive a navy blue dodge durango. I have often approached other navy blue SUV's thinking it was mine and once even tried to unlock one when my 4 year old informed me it was not my vehicle. ( I was a little embarrassed!)
