I only have room for another 512, and the only CPU I can find would just bump me from 2000 to 2600 MHz

Ram is the cheapest, fastest way to upgrade an existing system. I suggest you check out Crucial.com, and use their Crucial System Scanner, to see what your ram spec's are, as far as what the maximum is, what kind, etc. You don't have to buy from Crucial. I have, pretty expensive, but it worked!

You may be able to replace the cpu chip with one a couple of notches higher up( faster). Consult a reputable tech. You can easily increase the RAM and add another hard drive.

More ram should help allot. 512 is a bare minimum these days. I would suggest at least a gig, 2 gigs would be better.

u probably will be having a dual RAM slot in ur motherboard.....so u can go for a RAM according to ur preferences......that could be one of them......or u can buy DVD burners if u dont have one........
