I would rebel if the government came and took my neighbors because they were of a particular race or religion. I would rebel if the government tried to shut down a newspaper or radio station. I would rebel if a school refused to allow people to follow their religious rules in the wearing of specific headgear, like yarmulkes or veils. I wouldn't bother to rebel against a company, just stop buying their products.

Re-institution of the draft. It could happen if Lt General Douglas Lute, the senior military advisor to W, has his way. Considering that everyone is talking about yet another winless war with Iran, the draft is very real. And this time, it will include the blonde and blue eyed daughters of all those W supporters as well. And maybe a draft will actually get Americans to care about what the government ISN'T doing, other than spending their money and sending kids to die in a war that is illegal.

That is based on one criteria.

Purpose.

Whats the purpose of rebelion? What's going to be accomplished if one does so?

If I were to rebel, It would be proably from work. Not much you can do about the law or government. I'd only rebel from work if they did something unlawful, clocked me out too early, didn't pay full wage, etc.

If they tried to make me do something that violated my christian conscience. Something I felt was morally wrong.
Like when Hitler had the Jews killed for no reason but ethnic hatred. If I had it to do over not going into the military or fighting in a war. I think government should stay out of religion. And religion should stay out of government.
One way to stop the brutal wars. If they are fighting over natural resources. such as oil? It would be cheaper to just buy it.

That's a tricky question because if someone 'rebels' against certain wrongs THEY can get on the F BI Criminal Database, as some has.

I would use my Second Amendment rights to protect our First Amendment rights. Come to think of it, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th, but that's all academic since most of them have eroded in the past few years.
