It's fair to say illegals do the hard work that welfare people refuse to do; is this obvious disparity a motivating factor why liberals want illegals to become citizens and learn the lesson of other exploited minorities, living off the government is a better way of life & you have no chance to improve your life, in a capitalistic society.

Sure, the primary reason libbies want illegals to have citizenship is to vote democratic BUT maybe it takes a generation or two, to kill that "hard work" thing that embarasses liberals (it proves people can overcome hardships on their own without requiring government to pay you to stop working).

not completely true but we will definitely see. The Oklahoma law going into effect is emptying the state of illegals and we will see what work does or doesnt get done. One thing is for sure amnesty is a ticket to more career welfare recipients.

That's some pretty twisted thinking unless you think Bush is a liberal.
Look it seems that half of the conservatives think the Illegals are already sucking up welfare, and the other half think they are doing jobs that welfare won't.
So which is it? Do they work too hard or not hard at all?
Most of those on welfare are kids and infants, you want to give them a pick and shovel so they can garden for you?
How about a little honesty here, if those bottom of the barrel jobs paid more Americans would take them, a road crew is a road crew, but if you want to pay illegals way below minimums and no benefits you can only do that because they have no way to complain, they are literally stuck with those jobs. Its your greed my dear and others like you that would employ everyone without a college degree at wages just at slave labor that want illegals here in great numbers.
Whats amazing is that it doesn't embarrass you.

"career" welfare recipients are not embarassed by anyone or anything. If theyw ere, they woulf get off of welfare and get on with their lives. Liberals are not pushing for the legalization of illegal immigrants in hopes of adding new voters. That is a neo-con myth. The Republicans in power are the supporters of NAFTA and guest worker programs that would allow undocumented aliens to enter the country and eventually stay over and push for a change of status. Before being able to vote, any immigrant illegal or legal myst become a citizen of the U.S. and this is a process that takes many years even for legal immigrants. The green card won't cut it. Of course, the voter registration process is very open to abuse, requiring very little more than a current address to register to vote, and noone at the pools will ask to see identification when you go in to cast your ballot.

I didn't know Bush had changed to being a Liberal. Do you know his stand on illegals as he has an Hispanic sister-in-law. You better do some more research Bucko.
