It is actually 128 cubic feet. A cord of wood is 4 feet long, by 4 feet tall, and each stick in the cord is approximately 100 inches long. This is so they can be transported by truck and railcar appropriately. Trust me, this is right. This is from growing in a logging family. Hope that this helps. Take care!

128. Many States are making laws about the selling of wood. Too many sellers were selling "face cords" which are 16" x 4' x 8'. (1/3rd cord)
