josh y-motley crue jams..i was just listening last night driving home to they're greatest hits. shout at the devil, looks that kill,dr. feelgood, kickstart my heart..they all jam.

falco-good to hear from my fellow 80's hair band fans. i guess i love it so much cuz i grew up to it..people like to make fun of it, but is was just good fun rock and roll and the musicians played they're instruments..not about death, rape or crime. just fun music..keep it alive. \m/

Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction both started to get popular right around the same time during 1989. Both acts made me say "wow" and with good reason. These two groups were far more important to alternative music than Nirvana could ever have hoped to been.

Well the first time I heard "Kickstart My Heart" by Motley Crue, I became a fanatic. I bought about three new CD's that week. They still remain one of my favorite bands.

The first time I heard Jeremy by Pearl Jam I went out and bought their album Ten and loved it. I've been fan ever since. Interesting how Jeremy, sadly, was almost like a foreboding song in a sense, too.(Columbine, etc)
