I just won the scholorship for grade point average at the college that I go to for having a 4.0. It made me feel good but still I have been slacking for a while and I need to change. Any ideas?

Congratulations on your achievement, but that just means that you are capable of more than they are offering. Challenge yourself. Go to a professor and see if they would be willing to work with you on a research project, or come up with some subject that interests you and see if you can get someone to work with you on an independent study. Get involved in an inter-school competition in your area of study (if your school doesn't form such teams, see if you can find an appropriate competition and put a team together). Look for internships for the summer in which you go to some destination and do something interesting (I'm thinking of a student here a year ago who went to Central American and worked with the indigenous people on setting up their area as an eco-tourism destination).
