So...I'm writing a story and I need a BIT of help. First off, I need a good name for a Chemistry professor. He's rather mono-tone and isn't really exciting or really strict.

Secondly, I need a cool name for a piece of technology. This piece of technology exists in the future and is used during classes. One of it's many uses is to automatically send an assignment to the students when they walk into the classroom and automatically send it to the teacher when it's due. Any ideas?

Cutie,

Make that gadget a PDA, just newer and better. I could suggest a name or two but to get the "feel" that you want for the story, you'll want to find thay yourself. Let your fingers do the walking through the white pages. You'll find names for all your characters. You'll find names for characters you havent even thought of- meaning you'll see an interesting name and suddenly a new character will grow from it.

Good Luck Darling!

I love to write too and I must admit one of the most diffiucult things to do is to name a character. I wish there was an easy formula for this, but you are doing the right thing, asking for help.

I would suggest the name of Professor Henry Schwartz. Amiable...unassuming...weak...very soft and apathetic.

The futuristic gadget? Hmm, got a stupid one for ya! "AIDe = Artificial Information or Intellectual Distribution," aides in distributing/receiving homework assignments.

Okay...OKAY! Lame, yes, I know. But it was fun giving this some thought.

I wish you luck on your project....!

We could smell the smoke all the way from the gym. "Mr. Okie" (short for Oakhurst) kept changing his mind on the homework assignment and burned out Susie's "nanomitter".
