what will happen if it was played in the club and people were dancing to it and loved it and it was played in the radio too.

If it's playing on the radio, the only way you can get it on the radio is if it's a "local scene" show. The clubs can do what they want, but you'll never get famous if you're only played in like five clubs.

When a sizable record company signs your band, you get exposure/access to places nationally that are looking for music in specified formats. If your song fits, you can get a rotation and a chance for stardom.

I am NOT a prophet for the so-called "underground" scene. If you don't want to make money, that's one thing. But most musicians want a hit regardless of why. Take the glory with the artistic license.
