I used to love the original Wagon Train with Ward Bond and Robert Horton. Another great favourite was Champion the Wonder Horse. Fury (the black stallion) has often been repeated, but I would give anything to see Champion again. Anyone feel the same nostalgia for these programmes? The Woodentops, ah, memories.

Yes, it was the same horse Gene Autrey rode, but in Champion he affiliated himself to a young boy.

I remember watching an old black and white TV show back around 1964-67-called "Ma & Pa Kettle", a hillbilly couple (man small in stature and his larger, louder wife), and these two were so backwards it was hilarious! I do remember it was a very popular TV show. (Don't confuse it with The Beverly Hillbillies). There was a scene in a "Ma & Pa Kettle" show where they'd earned some money and they're discussing how to split the profits with other people involved in the investment, and they and some other truly smart guy are giving their explanations on how to split the money. These two hillbillies were SO WAY OFF in their calculations that it was hilarious! Talk about 'creative accounting'! Anyone remember this show? I'd love to see some more of this show if on the web somewhere...
