My prediction:
Brett and the Packers will go to the Superbowl and play the Patriots.
Packers win.
Just like they did with brett for his first superbowl.
Brett decides to retire 3 months later.
thoughts?

Did you buy him a ticket? That is the only way Favre get to the SB this year...

Green Bay has no running game, they should beat the clueless Chiefs but their run is all but over. If you cannot run the ball you can't win in this league. Green Bay doesn't make the playoffs this year, sorry but no storybook ending this year.

Are all of you on crack?? Seriously, anyone that thinks the Packers can beat the Patriots has to be retarded. And "Favre has been lighting it up this year over Tom Brady"??? That has to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever read on this site.

Stats

Brady CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT
2007 198 267 2431 74.2 9.11 69 30 2 8 136.2

Favre CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT
2007 181 274 2046 66.1 7.47 82 11 6 12 92.5

Nobody is even close to Brady so far this year, especially Favre.

And for those who think the Colts are going to beat Patriots this week or this year in the playoffs, you are not as crazy as the people who think the Packers can beat the Pats, but you are in for a rude awakening. I can't blame you for thinking your team is the best team, because in fact, if you throw out the Pats, the Colts are the best team in the league. That being said, the Patriots are not only better than the Colts, they are in a different league. I know this may sound ridiculous to some people, but come talk to me Sunday after the game, when the Pats win by 20+. I will be here, will you???

Well, isn't it funny how just before the season started, nobody was giving the Pack any respect whatsoever.

Hello bandwagon jumpers.

Of course I'd love to see my beloved Pack out there in Arizona, but they're far from the complete team at this point.

But if Grant (or any of the other healthy RB's on the team) can replicate his performance against Denver against teams that can actually stop the run, who knows?

Plus this young GB team needs to learn how to protect half-time leads properly. No better example of this than that meltdown against the Bears (of all teams...dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!).

So, if your prediction is going to come true, better execution and luck is needed for the Pack.

That, and possibly locking the Patriots in their locker room!!!!!

i think that would be great.... especially if my team doesnt get their act together soon... The packers have been my NFC pick since the start of the season

the only thing that i may have to disagree with is Farve retiring.... i mean its possible but with the way he's playing he could easily play another season(or two)...

Ummmmmm.

No.

GB can't run the ball well enough to go to the Super Bowl. They're a playoff team but not a Super Bowl winning team, in my opinion. Even if they did make the Super Bowl, they don't have the team to beat New England.

My prediction is that Dallas makes the Super Bowl and loses to New England.

Just my opinion.

I picked Green Bay to go 11-5 this year. I am still sticking to that. If they do go to the Super Bowl and win it would be on a long shot. I don't think they can beat New England, Indy or Pittburgh. And I bleed green and gold.

Nobody listens to me.
boo hoo. poor me.
but enuff of my pity party.

I gave the Pack a shot at the SuperBowl but they have to get past Kitna and Detroit who I also give an excellent shot at the SuperBowl.
Eli and Romo not yet SuperBowl caliber QBs but Garcia is.
Tampa will probably be the other team in the NFC Championship Game.
Favre, Kitna & Garcia.
3 Old Goats climbing to the mountain top. Only one can stay.
I think Kitna.
NE will be upset in the playoffs.
They just MIGHT have to face Cleveland again and I hope they do.
I pick Indy to repeat.

I would like to see the Packers go, but the Patriots will lose in play-offs to the Colts just like they will Sunday.

That sounds nice and all but I have the Cowboys and Patriots in the Superbowl. Romo and the Cowboys pull off a huge upset and win the Superbowl and bring the championship back to Dallas.
