I'm nearly 17weeks pregnant (2nd child) and for the past few weeks ive been getting cramp right down low in my abdomen and its getting more painful. Didnt getting it with the first but this pregnancy has been completely different. Is it normal

Sounds like ligament and tendon pain. Or just braxton hicks. I started in with the BH contractions at 16 weeks. Had them clear through.

But anyway, it sounds pretty normal. If you're worried go see your doctor.

Your ligaments are generally weaker teh second time around> Im in my third pregnancy and have the same feelings.

I am also 17 weeks and I know exactly what your talking about. Its ligament pain. Its annoying but harmless. But you may just want to mention it to your doctor just to be safe.
