While I was saving the pets:
A dog, a turtle, a goldfish, two lovebirds and two parakeets.
My husband would be saving:
The household files, the contents of the safe, the family photo albums, the keys to the rv.
You gotta love practical. :)

Because of the recent Calif fires, we have now put all valuables in one area of the house and the most important in one carry all. I would pick up this carry all, my cell phone, keys to house and drive to a safe place. We are also threatened with a local dam breaking if we have an earthquake, so we are now ready for anything, without worrying THEN. We are prepared. Thanks for asking.

people and pets. I'd like to grab my purse with banking and identity info in it, but like everything else in the house, that can be replaced as well.
