Well, actually the romantic ideal is represented by the Venus sign. Venus in Cancer people are very loyal when in love. Mars in Gemini needs A LOT of intellectual stimulation. They can be really flirty. They get easily bored but, I think it also depends on the gender of the person.

Mars Gemini people are intellectual,and fond of debate.Some may be flirts,some may like to argue unduly.But all of this depends on the rest of the chart and aspects made to the Mars.
