The Rocketas ACTUAL top speed is about 55 as confirmed with GPS testing in Scoot magazine (about 8 months ago), the speedos on them are very optomistic.
But, Dude, there are MOD PARTS OUT THERE!!!< oh man you dont even know!!

It is possible (marginal), but will require a lot of modifications, and the end result will be an engine that will have a lot of weaknesses.
The 150cc engines (GY6-China) are not designed to operate at the level you are wanting to attain.
These are the things you can do to boost the performance, as short lived as it may be. Cylinder kit, to increase the cc displacement, as large as you can. Free flow air filter, matched to a high performance carb which you will probably have to modify with various jetting to determine what works best, free flow exhaust system to accommodate the increases in air and fuel intake and high performance coil and CDI. Once you get all that done, you will start experimenting with different cams, knowing that the 'hotter the cam, the less life' you will get from your engine, basically you are making the engine self destruct because you are running RPMs far higher than it is designed for. Sooo all this should only run you around $600 to destroy your ride... and you still probably want see a true 80mph.
Enjoy!

Dude,
All the answers are good. But if you want to boost your horsepower radically, then try a bottle of Nitrous Oxide! Get a kit designed for a motorcycle about the same displacement and put in the jets needed for max power gains. Do the tips given be others on this thread. You will get that indicated (if optimistic) 80 MPH!

Speedometers aren't accurate and, by some quirk, always exaggerate the speed so you probably weren't doing 72. To gain 8 mph you might be able to do it by reducing the weight and improving the aerodynamics.

port and polish the intake and carb.
install a better muffler - (exhaust)
make sure you tires are full to capasity.
turn up the fuel mix about 1/8 turn
and I assume that you already un-governed the bike.

drop it off a cliff it should reach 80 before it lands!, other wise, i'd say your asking too much from such a small engine.
