Why or why not?

No. I was always taught that it is rude to just drop by someone's house unannounced, and now that i have had children, I heartily agree. People who stop by unannounced during kid's naptimes are persona non grata! I always call someone and ask it its is ok to stop by first.

I don't like it at all when friends just drop by out of the blue unless it's pure emergency. It's always nice to call and go for at times people do need privacy and it's mighty irritating when in need of peace u get some intrusion in any form be it a friend or a salesman or somebody asking donation etc etc....Yea surprising somebody is good indeed but guess how much u'd be surprised if u catch ur friend at a bad time lol maybe when ur friend was having a little fun in the bed LMAO.

So prolly it's best to call and dropby, thats me :D lol I don't want to catch a Kodak Embarrassing Moment lol

Well....maybe a little bit of both. Perhaps the wife could have considered her husbands possible feelings regarding her getting on a motorcycle with anyone. As well, the wife could have thought about what her riding on the back of that bike might project to the people in her community. Witnesses do not know this man is an old friend, they do not know she trusts him, and that it is simply platonic. They see her hoppin on the bike of Harley with some dude, that is obviously not her husband, and this could become misconstrued even though it is completely innocent. On the other hand, his reaction to the situation is what is of major importance. He obviously has jealousy and anger management issues, and it could destroy a marriage. It's a 50/50 answer from me.

depends on the friends. Some would be cool with it and some get pissed. This mainly depends on if they r single or coupled. Single ppl r usually just happy someone cares enough to see them. Coupled ppl r just so pissed off at their mate they will use anything to start a fight with the other. i.e. "your friends cant just show up here!"

No I don't think it acceptable. To be honest I like to be prepared and have snacks otherwise I feel rude and like I'm a bad hostess. My house is always immaculate so I'm not worried about that I just think its rude to walk up to someones house and expect the owners to be thrilled.

No,because you may be disturbing them when they are doing something important. It may also be inconvenient and it's bad manners to drop in unannounced

Whether my place is tidy or not, I don't like the unexpected visit. I don't do it to my friends, and most of them know not to do it to me.

Why not. It is unreal how much people strive to hide how they live. Who cares if the beds are not made. common in.

No, I think it's sort of rude. I wouldn't do that to anyone and I expect the same.
