Now that I am pregnant with our 2nd, I am quickly realizing how dramatically different both of my pregnancies are. My question to the Mommy's with two or more pregnancies is....did this mean anything regarding gender if your pregnancies were not the same?

My 1st pregnancy was smooth sailing...no sore boobs, no morning sickness, no food cravings...yet had sensitivity to smells and preterm labor @ 32weeks.

My 2nd pregnancy (thus far)....sore boobs, frequent headaches, extreme hunger, skin breakouts, stuffy nose daily...no sensitivity to smell at all....

Just for fun....what were your pregnancies like and what were the genders?

I have had 2 kids.

1. No sore boobs, broke out in hives first 3 months but other than that no sickness at all!!!!!

2. Very sore boobs, could not eat a thing without vomiting, was 171 when I found out I was pregnant was 162 after water broke and before I delivered!

I really thought I was having a girl the second time since my first was a boy, and both pregnantcies were so different. But I had a ultrasound one week before my due date and it was another boy. So I don't think different pregnantcies matter much. Good Luck no matter what you have and hope he or she is very happy and very healthy!!!!!

My first pregnancy I ate literally for two lol and gained 98 pounds, had a minor stroke and got bells palsy because of it. No sore boobs, no morning sickness, sensitivity to smells was bad though, loads of food cravings hence the weight gain, I fell twice, once in my home and another right under a car:O.....I worked until I was 35 weeks and went into labor at 36 1/2 weeks. I had a boy

My second pregnancy was completely different. I had lost all the weight from my son and this time I was determined to not gain as much weight. I only gained 40 pounds yea:) I craved nachos because until my 7th month that was all about I could eat w/o throwing up, my boobs hurt, I threw up from anything and was so sick all the time I quit work at 4 months. Horrible headaches. Sciatica.....with both pregnancies I had horrible break-outs, thats how I should have known I was pregnant the second time, I never break out unless I am pregnant oddly enough. I went into labor at 36 weeks (guess I am an early baby momma) and guess what....I had another boy! LOL...big surprise hehe...........

First pregnancy had nausea in first 9wks, very sore boobs all the time and they got HUGE!, strong cravings for anything sweet, bad pelvic pain and carried very round and low. It was a girl born from induction at 40weeks.

Second pregnancy had minimal nausea if at all, very sore boobs but not so big, strong cravings to apple slice!, aversion to smells of mexican food (still can't eat it) and carried high and out front. It was a boy born naturally at 40+3 days.

Both pregnancies were different and I got different sexes!

Third pregnancy...well I'm only a month in so who knows! I've got minimal sore boobs so far and only had 2 mornings of nausea for about half an hour but things can change yet!!

I do believe that each pregnancy comes with its own list of complaints but my sister had three different ones with the same outcome...all girls!!!

Best of luck and congrats!

Mine were erm, about the oppposite to you actually! My first was awful, this one is like it's not even there (it is!!) I was very tired in the first 10 weeks or so, other than that my boobs are bigger and thats it. I'm 23/4 weeks now, and just started to show overnight like last time!! The only similarity is that I can't eat as much as I used to - get full too quick. I'm not even having cravings really this time! First was born at 40+4, he's a boy, this one is due on the 5th March (3 weeks before my son's first birthday ARGH!!) but we don't know the sex. Hubby thinks it's a girl though and I'd love a girl now I've got a boy, but healthy is all I'm worried about!

I am 32 weeks pregnant with #3 and my first two pregnancies where very easy, not much morning sickness they were both girls.
Now with #3, I was always sick and it has just been a very hard pregnancy and this is a boy.

Also, my first 2 are only 14 months apart, and with this one, I waited over 3 years, so that might have something to do with it as well!

1st pregnancy-really straightforward,no sickness,no sore boobs craved salad cherry tomatoes and just healthy stuff, went off all take aways-had a boy 4 days early.

2nd pregnancy-miscarriage didnt even know i was pregnant so would have only been about 3 or 4weeks.

this 1 i class as my 2nd pregnancy although offically its my 3rd.
I sufferd sickness for 12 weeks, headaches everyday from about 6 weeks until i passed 12 weeks,i have craved sweets and fatty foods,i have had urine infections, kidney infections, really bad backache all through and just a bad pregnancy in general and its another boy.

So no definately no two pregnancies are the same.

My first pregnancy was horrible, bad morning sickness all day, sensitivity to all smells (made me vomit), sore boobs, huge weight gain, stretch marks etc. etc. it was a boy. Second was great no problems at all and a boy, third was great except was breech and needed to be turned by the doctor 2 weeks prior to delivery and was a girl, fourth was a girl and I had a little bit of morning sickness at the beginning. So there you go all different and it made no difference with gender.

In my first pregnancy, I wanted to have sex all the time! ALL the time! When we found out it was a boy, the doc said that was probably why: testosterone surging through my bloodstream.

My second pregnancy was so smooth and peaceful -- unlike my younger son. He was a calm baby who grew into a hurricane of a boy!

My third pregnancy, I was constantly sick and weak. I had a beautiful girl after what seemed like an eternity.

The big difference among them was my weight gain: 50 pounds, 25 pounds, and 2 pounds.

My first pregnancy was text book - my 2nd was so different (sensitive to everything) that I talked my Dr into an early ultrasound and found out I was having twins...I was hoping the 2nd was going to be a boy because it was different than my daughter pregnancy the 1st time, but I have 3 daughters now, LOL! Needless to say we love them all and are you getting an ultrasound soon? :)
Enjoy the no sensitivity to smell part anyway!
