The story is:
Every 26000 years the earth is tilted to a degree where the sun goes all whack and stuff its alinement is so rare that once every 26000 years everything will tip over if i may!
Like say all the volcanoes will erupt and all the oceans will overflow or spill out!
There will be a world wide thing and its happening in 5 years we can do anything to stop it!
We will live through it but we will be like pilgrims or something no more t.v computer( jobs actors singers etc) cars it will all be wiped out!
So its happening at december 21 2012 so heres my question
do you think its going to be another Y2K (which i never believed) or something more and they have proof the mayan and chinese calendars even said so so what do you think?

This is an urban myth perpetrated by someone 'discovering' that the Mayan (or was it Aztec) calendar 'ended' on 21 Dec 2012.
Why would that culture have any knowledge of the end of the world, any more than those in our own culture, who were convinced the world was going to end in 1988, or again in 2000?
I liked an answer given to a similar question:
"I would be more worried, if I were you, that the calendar hanging on your kitchen wall ends on Dec 31, 2007!"

This is the saddest thing I have read here - you're 12 years old and believe the world is coming to an end. How very very sad.
OK. I will try to provide you some facts about this "alignment", please listen:
Sun and Earth are aligned with the Milky Way's equator once every year, not once in 26000 years. It happens every year. Every year. Nothing bad has happened because of it, and never will. It's a very natural and very normal event.
This alignment happens once a year but the exact date when it happens varies in a 26000 year cycle because of Earth's precession. So from 1980 to 2018 it happens every year in the day of winter solstice, December 21. The exact alignment was already December 21 1997 and the world did not end because of it. So the world will not end in 2012 either.
You can read more facts about it here: http://www.geocities.com/astrologyages/maya2012.htm
Now, some people have constructed an urban legend, a myth, a LIE about the world ending in 2012 because of a normal alignment. They do it to get page hits and to sell books and DVDs to naive people. Do not believe them, they don't have single fact right in their "predictions".
So keep on having dreams and making plans for your future, as the world will not end in 2012.
EDIT: Short answer to your question:
Yes, Dec 21 2012 is going to be another Y2K as nothing very special happens then either. One of maya's calendars will start again. Our calendar will start again few days later.

Where do you hear or read such nonsense? The Earth's tilt has no effect on the Sun. The Earth's tilt is always about 23 degrees but it does slowly precess like a wobbling top, making one "wobble" every 26,000 years. But that has NOTHING to do with volcanoes or the oceans.
Yes, it will be another Y2K. Actually less real than Y2K because there WERE known computer problems that had to be fixed for Y2K. I fixed some of them myself. And I have stumbled on at least one un-fixed one as recently as last month.

Dear Bunny -
Whoa - take a deep breath - stop worrying about the tilt of the earth and the sun going whack- we can't do anything about it, true, but there is NO REASON to believe this nonsense. Consider the source - who is telling you that this is an issue? Your teachers? NASA? your parents? the Air Force? or your buddy who knows less about it than you do, as evidenced by you asking the question, while he/she just tries to impress people. Come to think of it - maybe no TV wouldn't be so bad...

i don't get to mention this very often (and its a bit of a stretch here, i will grant) but...
Clarke's Law states:
"When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong."
my own corrolary to Clarke's Law is:
"If some kid on the playground states something is gonna happen, he is full of it."

Anything is possible, but that is highly unlikely.
Moreover, Jesus said that no one knows the day or the hour that the He will return. The end will come like a thief in the night - aka unexpected!
