I'm going to a fancy dress party tonight and I promised everyone I'd go as a penguin.
However, I have no 'penguin costume' or the means to get one so I'm going to have to make one myself.
I'm going to wear flippers on my feet (scuba-diving ones) and probably make cardboard flippers to stick to my arms. I have black face paint and will make my beak out of yellow/orange paper.
What else can I do???

I guess you could get a black long sleeve shirt then either paint over it or get some good white piece of card board or paper, cut it to an oval shape and tape it somewhere in your abdomen
flippers it would be funny though haha.

White tie and tails, a cardboard beak and big shoes, penguins do not have flippered feet but big feet with claws for climbing rocks and/or ice. If you don't have a white tie and tails, I suppose a tuxedo would do. Go as a royal penguin and you won't need a black face but you will need some yellow feathers in your hair.

Wear a tuxedo, just get a cheap one from value village or something.
