I want something unique!!
Can incorporate the pregnancy if possible.

Im pregnant and no joke all people are getting me for christmas is things for the baby. my partner is gertting a nintendo wii and im getting a cot. I would rather have had something for myself. Why not treat her to some pampering products so she can feel like a yummy mummy...not just a mummy.

To be honest, being a mother myself, don't buy something for her for christmas that is partially for the baby or something she can only use because she is pregnant. This happens all the time and can make you feel like everyone has forgotten about the person you were before you got pregnant.
Get her something that is entirely for her and not necessaily in conjunction with the pregnancy. Like a Pedicure Voucher, CD from her favourite band, Books, A new soft bath robe etc...something to do with her hobbies or interests, eg scrapbooking or photography
AND when she has the baby, don't just buy the baby something, get her something too to honour the fact that she just did an amazing job bringing a life into the world.

Oh the one thing she might appreciate and that is related to the pregnancy is one of those photographic studio pictures of her being pregnant. Like a framed artistic photo or even a belly cast to hang on the wall. Its personal but might not be under 30pd

trust me...don't do a pregnancy related gift. she's the one receiving this gift...the baby will get plenty when it's born--and then constantly thereafter.
do something special for her. a massage, a pedicure, a gift certificate to bath and body works...
listen to her hints as to what she may like. if you must incorporate the pregnancy, buy her some new maternity clothes. pregnant women never have enough maternity wear!

I agree with Cindy. I'd buy her something just for her, that way she can enjoy it before the baby comes. A nice massage, a pedicure, and even bath salts are a great gift for expectant mothers and can usually be bought for under $30.00.
Also, if you're running short on money, a cute idea is to make coupons that say you'll babysit for her once the baby comes, that way, once she delivers, her and her hubby can have a nice day to themselves.

Get your sister in law a full body pillow. They sell them in most department store. Sleeping is one of the most uncomfortable things to do during pregnancy. I wish someone would buy me one! Right now im using 5 pillows to support my body.
You could make it a "Maternity Relief" gift. If you have money after the pillow you could buy some soothing candles and some body lotion.

M*thercare do a pamper kit for new mums. I always thought this was a fab idea.
Get her some vouchers for a spa day or something and offer to baby sit for a few hours once baby is here.
If you have a local beauty salon they usually do this type of gift too.

I agree with Cindy V...I'm pregnant with my second and so far my chirstmas gifts are all stuff for the baby and while I appericate it. I am more than just an incubator.
Get her some movies she likes or books, gift certificates to a salon something just for her.

what about an impression kit! i got one as a gift and thought it was great! its a set with 2 frames and a casting set so she can keep a memory of baby's hands and feet when they are small!
its around 20pound from mothercare! there are about 2-3 different sets!

Might sound a bit boring - but some great books. If this is her first this will be the last chance she gets to put her feet up and read (only excuse you get really).

Something she could use to pamper herself. A facial, manicure, foot massage/pedicure (pregnant women get really sore feet) or something like that to make her feel good about herself. Maybe you could give her a good book to relax with if she reads or a subscription to her favourite magazine.
