i often feel the earth move - does that count?

The reason we don't feel it can be explained by thinking of an airplane ride. Imagine we are in a perfect airplane. That is, an airplane that is flying at a constant velocity without slowing down, speeding up, turbulence or turning. In this airplane, we are free to move about without noticing that the plane is moving. We can run, walk, play catch and do anything that we can do on the ground because we are moving at the same constant velocity as the airplane. In fact, if the windows were closed, there is no way we could tell whether we were flying along at this constant velocity or whether we were sitting motionless on the runway.

If, however, the pilot decides to speed up, slow down, or turn, the plane undergoes an acceleration and we can feel an inertial force.

Earth moves very fast. It spins (rotates) at a speed of about 1,000 miles (1.7 kilometers) per hour and orbits around the sun at a speed of about 67,000 miles (107,000 kilometers) per hour. We do not feel any of this motion because these speeds are constant. The spinning and orbital speeds of Earth stay the same so we do not feel any acceleration or deceleration. You can only feel motion if your speed changes. For example, if you are in a car which is moving at a constant speed on a smooth surface, you will not feel much motion. However, when the car accelerates or when the brakes are applied, you do feel motion.

it is mainly due to the inertia of us and the earth combined the earth rotates at a steady speed and therefor we notice no change just as if you were to be riding in a car or any other moving object you don't notice that it is moving unless there is some change in its movements i.e. turn, speeds up, slows down, etc. Also you are moving just as fast as the earth. Just as in a car you may be seated but if you look at your speed to the ground you are traveling and the same speed as the car

well simply because the earth is spinning at a rate so slow that you just cant feel it.its almost the same of why we cant feel the gravitational pull of the sun

Because everything is moving with it at the same time. It is like being on a plane on level flight. You cannot feel it going 500 mph.

because earth is flat and it's not spinning.

Gravity keeps us in check like a 300 lb beast in maximum security keeps his roomie on his knees. That's just the the way it is . Don't question it.

If you put your ear to the ground and listen very carefully you can hear a slight rumbling noise from the bearings.

because it moves so slow well not really but its like being in a car its moving fast and your just sitting there it dosent seem as fast!
BUT the biggest thing on that is its all gravities fault!
