How do I go about filing for Unemployment if I have been taken off of the schedule, it's been three weeks now. And I've done ever thing I was asked to do, I've open up my availbility on the weekends like I was ased to do, Oh I should probably mention that I only work the weekends, because I am in school. I haven't quit yet because I'm been trying to give time time to put me on there but its getting a little ridiculous now, I mean its been three weeks.

The rules for unemployment differ by state, so you could go ahead and apply and see what happens - you might or might not be eligible. You might go to your employer again first and ask when you'll be back on the schedule, or if there's anything else you need to do.

1st Have you talked to your manager? I would have after the 1st day I wasn't on schedule. That is your first step
2ed if you haven't worked there for 6 months and at full time you aren't even eligible for unemployment.
Go talk to your manager and go from there
Good luck

if you aren't unemployed, you can't file for unemployment. have you ever ASKED if you still have a job there? keep asking if you really want to keep the job. otherwise, quit. if you quit, no unemployment. are you in high school or college? i don't think that you can collect unemployment if you only work weekends.

If you are not available to work any weekdays because you are in school all weekdays, then you do not qualify for unemployment.

What do you owe your boss? Nothing, b/c he isn't allowing you to work, so why do you feel obligated to let him have an on-call employee FOR FREE.

Find another job, and just don't call him back.
