Here's a link to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) it is an international organization that brings people together to find solutions which promote responsible stewardship of the world’s forests. This site may give you some direction with your project.

Just picture everyone in their underwear when you're presenting. jk! If you prepare and practice in front of a mirror you will be the bomb. Good luck!

First things first . Please do not use
"dis is da " "ur" in your speech.

Ask yourself these questions, if it was a natural part of the earths climate change, then cutting the rain forrest down at a rate of............
(How would anyone know it was natural if these things weren't happening. Which is only happening during the past few generations)

Every year, Brazil chops down an area of forest the size of the state of Nebraska.
In addition to the Amazon's rain forests, many other forests are being cut down as well. In Indonesia, Zaire, Papua-New Guinea, Malaysia, Burma, the Philippines, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, and Venezuela,** (rain forests that were once great
****** have been lost.)******
They're gone we cant get them back without the help of every man, woman and child working to save the planet.

According to some estimates, 50 million acres of rain forest are cut down every year. The United Nations says the figure is closer to 17 million acres. The World Wildlife Fund says that every minute, 25 to 50 acres are cut or burned to the ground.

Why is Australia so concerned about the great barrier reef. To the point of
wanting to cover it with shade cloth.?

Australia considering "shade cloth" to protect Great Barrier Reef

Federal Tourism Minister Fran Bailey says using "shade cloth" over parts of the Great Barrier Reef off Queensland could protect it from the harmful effects of global warming.

Below is a link providing information about the use of this fabric.
This knit high-density polyethylene cloth is both effective and low cost. The material cuts down on UV penetration and keeps the area underneath cooler.

PS I use it to keep sun off of my koi pond because koi can become sunburned. It also keeps the water temperature cooler for them.
Polar ice caps
Average temperatures in the Arctic region are rising twice as fast as they are elsewhere in the world. Arctic ice is getting thinner, melting and rupturing. For example, the largest {single block of ice in the Arctic, the Ward Hunt Ice Shelf, had been around for 3,000 years before it started [cracking in 2000]. Within [two years it had split all the way through] and is now breaking into pieces.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE SOMETHING NATURAL OCCURING?

Open the links and read the articles and then ask "What can I do to stop this". You can write a good report and maybe changes some minds.
I've have only touched the surface.
Good Luck!

basic tip on global warming speech divide it into 3 parts-intro,reasons or causes and remedies. Check out wikipedi@ (@ = a) for info and remember this not even Al Gore has completely told the true picture, so don't worry.
