Last week travelled round Yorkshire on a little holiday and found a lot of women sliding off their chairs when they jeard my Scots accent .
Very flattering ( although my wife was a bit put out ) but I dont get it.
Never thought my voice was sexy .
Would love to hear what others think before I decide to leave the wife and move to Yorkshire permanately .
Only joking love my wee sweetheart to bits and would never hurt her, Shes a gorgeous Italian Brunnette and the best !!!

Thanks for the answers so far girls, but please remember its not a competition between my accent and our Irish Brothers. Interesting though must be something sexy about us Celts !!!

Personally it not that sexy to me, being 3/4 scottish and 1/4 from elsewhere the only scottish accent I hear is my dad, and rarely my uncles, auntie & tv person! No-one can understand half of what he says and I spend the best part of the conversation explaining what he just said. Although Ewan McGregor does something to me! My kids find it highly amusing that grandad watches 'fillums' on tv, eats 'sang-wedges' for lunch and says 'eee' 'aye' and 'urgh' quite alot but not singing 'auld' mcdonalds farm!

It's not aways so. The accent of scottish is surely sexy, while other accents have their advantage too. i have no scottish accent, but i also attracted my girls at millionairematch.

Its not exactly your voice i think, its basically just the accent. Women LOVE to hear an accent that is totally different from theirs, thats why they like spanish guys, french guys , jamaicans and such its just that accents make everything so different and they love different. Its the same reason why you choose and italian to be your lover(wife) because that accent the way she spoke it just appealed to you, It can be a good thing or a bad things, i think thats why girls from the burbs (like myself but lol i am not a good example cause i talk ghetto) folk to guys that are from the ghetto or that got that gangsta slang or wudeva. It just makes that estrogen pump.
