Which is the better graphics card, the desktop nvidia geforce 6800 or the laptop nvidia geforce go 8600m gs?

In 3D graphics benchmark, 8600M GS is better than Geforce 6800 but quite comparable to 6800GS or GT. Also, 8600M GS has better HD video capabilty.

The 8600 Is a better card if you have a desktop i have never looked at the laptop and if your going to buy go to newegg.com

i think the desktop is better as it can operate 24/7 continuously, i don't think a laptop version can do that.
