I used to dream about it when I was young and pennyless in the Philippines. "How is it to spend a white Christmas"

Now, I'm ONE penny richer, and already in a place where white Christmas will always be a reality (-40 deg grrr!!!!),
I dream of Christmas in the Philippines!!!

I too live in Australia and yes I am dreaming of going home to the US and having a white Christmas, but alas I will be here in the sunshine in the middle of summer wearing shorts and sweating. Oh for a beautiful white Christmas -- those of you who have never had one don't know what you are missing.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas... with every Christmas card I write...

More like I'm dreaming of a green Christmas. I need money. Kidding. ^_~

Never.

I have always wanted my Christmas to be in the Philippines. With the Christmas songs, the kiddie carolers, the decorations, the Christmas lights, the simbang gabi, puto bumbong and bibingka.

No way will I trade these for snow.

Yeah. Never had one.

But I saw in TFC that in the Mall of Asia, they have this skating rink and they rain snow on skaters. I'd probably visit the place if ever I do decide to come home for Xmas. Of course, this can be just a dream, too.

Nooo Waaayyyy!!! I remember all the times I had to clean the driveway in Minnessota where the snow got to be 8 feet deep, or in New Jersey where after a snowfall I cleaned the driveway and then a snow plow covered it up again not with snow, but with packed ice which broke not only my snow blower, but the snow shovel too. I HATE SNOW!!!

Hey, one cute story... When I worked in Taiwan, I sometimes had to fly to USA. The mid-stop was Anchorage, Alaska. Once there was about 4 inches of snow on the ground, and all the Taiwanese took their shoes off to see what the snow on the roof would feel like. :-))
