Someone starred one of my questions but didn't answer it....why would you do that? Have you ever done it??? I say at least get 2 points for giving up a star.

I would if I used up all of my answers earlier. This way I show support for a Y!A friend. I for sure would go back and answer it first chance I got.

Actually, yes, I have starred someone's question, but not answered. The reason being is that the answers that appeared were exactly like mine and it would be just a waste of time to post it.
But giving a star only signifies that you believe the question is interesting. Nothing more.

I star questions I don't answer if I think my contacts would like to answer them.
I star most of my contacts questions even if I don't answer them.
EDIT I do not do this on questions where the people do not know me.
Block because of a star? If I was a troll or wanted to cause problems, why would I star? Wouldn't it be easier to just report without starring if I wanted to cause problems? Just a thought.

I just did it for the first time about 2 minutes ago to find out what it actually was.
I would do it if I found the question interesting but didn't have an answer. Probably not very often though.

Creative or great question always received a star from others but they can rather choose 2give you a star than not to answer it. That's shows that they appriecate your question. As an answerer i pretty often do that lol!

Yes, I would, because it shows that I really think a question is interesting sincerely... Sometimes the question is so good that I can't even answer so I just star it... ^_^

I answer first, and if the answering makes me think of or makes my day, then i'm going to movie star. i understand...this is choosy of me, sorry. o.o yet this way I finally end up pointing my followers and contacts to the *solid stuff* you recognize? ^__^ Or a minimum of i attempt to. yet have a movie star besides in common terms for being affected person and understanding. ^_^

YES, I have done this. WHY? I find the question interesting, but, perhaps someone else has answered this much better than I would have- THEY get a "Thumbs Up" from me, also. Just consider it a compliment.

I do that, it could have been me. I don't always have a good answer but I'll give a star if I think it's interesting. *sigh* I've never gotten a star...

Sometimes I star & don't answer b/c the answer I want to give has already been said.....so when that happens I just give a thumbs up. :)
